Time for you.

The fast-paced and intensive nature of film and television production can be exciting, fulfilling and unlike anything else. It can also take a toll on mental health, wellbeing, and relationships. You may find yourself wanting to explore issues that come up with an experienced therapist who understands the context of your work.

How therapy can help:

People come to therapy for lots of different reasons.

Curiosity: You may be curious about the patterns in your life or relationships, how they have come to be & want to explore new possibilities for the future

Difficulties: You might be struggling and would like things to be different. Sometimes the reason feels obvious and sometimes it's difficult to pinpoint. If you're living with mental health issues or facing challenges such as bereavement, addiction or trauma, therapy can help you understand the root causes and develop new ways of coping that build on your strengths

Wellbeing: You might simply be looking to maintain your mental wellness and would like some sessions to check in. Like a workout for your mind

Professional & Personal: If you are an actor preparing for a role or a crew member working with script material that feels triggering, it is important to look after yourself. We can work together to navigate challenging days on set & explore what is coming up for you, whilst accessing your resilience and strengthening your coping skills

Wellbeing on Set offers a confidential space where you can feel heard and understood. Therapy can be challenging, but we will work together at a pace where you feel safe and supported.

With both in-depth and brief therapy options available, you can choose the level of support best for you.

Therapeutic services:

Individual Therapy

Offering accessible and flexible therapy, creating time for you to connect with yourself.

This might mean helping you identify and work with underlying patterns that could be contributing to your difficulties, improve your relationships, navigate life with a mental health diagnosis or proactively address trauma, stress and anxiety.

Couples Therapy

A safe and supportive space for you to connect, strengthen communication, and work through any tension or challenges in your relationship.

Whether you are struggling with communication, intimacy, trust, or dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, or trauma, this is an opportunity to increase understanding and awareness of each other.

Family Therapy

Problems within a family or system are often the result of patterns of communication and behaviour that have developed over time. We will explore what is already going well and address the underlying patterns that might be contributing to a presenting concern. Family therapy involves working with you together to promote open communication, increase understanding, and develop new ways of interacting to create a stronger, healthier family dynamic.

Family therapy can be beneficial for a range of problems, such as: communication difficulties, conflict & separation, behavioural issues, mental health diagnosis, bereavement, addiction and trauma.

How I work

I am trained in several evidenced based therapeutic approaches: Systemic Psychotherapy, Integrative Psychotherapy (incorporating Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT & Mindfulness), Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and EMDR. How we work together is tailored to your needs and wishes, so you can receive the care and support that feels right for you.

I believe that the therapeutic process is collaborative & that our therapeutic relationship is important. Together, we will work to address the challenges you are facing and support you to develop awareness, utilising your insight and internal resources to achieve your goals in therapy.
